What we collect

When a customer books an appointment with a participating barbershop, we process:

• Phone number (for SMS or WhatsApp messaging)
• Name (when the customer or barber provides it)
• Appointment details (service, date, time, notes)
• Payment status for deposit transactions. We do not collect card numbers ourselves — those go directly to Stripe or Square.

How we use SMS and messaging data

Phone numbers and message contents are used solely to:

• Confirm and remind about appointments you have booked
• Notify you about deposit / payment status for your appointments
• Allow you to reschedule or cancel via reply

We will not share your phone number or messaging data with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is shared only with the specific barbershop you are booking with, and with operational subprocessors (Twilio for SMS/WhatsApp delivery, Stripe and Square for payment processing, and our hosting provider).

Opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out of all SMS or WhatsApp messages from a participating barbershop. Reply HELP for help. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Data retention

Appointment and conversation history is retained for as long as the barbershop maintains an active account, plus a reasonable archival period. You may request deletion by contacting the barbershop directly or emailing newhudsontechllc@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including California's CCPA/CPRA and the EU's GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, email newhudsontechllc@gmail.com.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
